Bert has been part of the KBC Securities Project Finance team since 2011 and today he is senior relationship manager for an energy portfolio including wind, solar, biomass, energy saving companies (Esco's) and gas fired electricity plants. Bert has successfully closed several leading Belgian renewable energy transactions, including different offshore wind deals. Before joining KBC Securities, Bert worked in the research department of KBC Group and took managerial roles in KBC Asset Management.
Bert graduated as Commercial Engineer at the Catholic University of Leuven (K.U.L) and holds a Master Degree (Diplôme d’Etudes Supérieures) in Economic Sciences at the University of Brussels (U.L.B).
