Nico Melsens joined KBC Securities in 2000. He graduated as a Commercial Engineer (Business Informatics) at the University of Leuven (KU Leuven). He is a CFA charter holder and holds the BVFA (Belgian Financial Analysts’ Society) certificate.
From 2000 to 2004 Nico was a proprietary trader active in Benelux stocks and derivatives. In 2004 he switched to the Equity Research department of KBC Securities. In 2012 Nico transferred to the KBC Securities Corporate Finance team, and in 2014 he joined the KBC Acquisition Finance department.
