Olivier started his career at Altran-Europe as an innovation engineer, taking up different projects in the electronics & telecom industry. He quickly moved to IMEC to work on the development of optical interconnects inside digital systems and look at the industrialization potential of the technology. From there he joined Alcatel-Lucent to define and execute the go2market strategies for optical networking equipment. Within Alcatel-Lucent Olivier gradually grew towards the business and strategy side of innovation, focusing on go2market for new solutions, a.o. the IoT go2market strategy in EMEA. In 2013 Olivier moved to iMinds, the strategic research center for ICT and broadband applications & technology, where he helped starters, SMEs and public & private organizations set up technology driven and user-centered innovation projects and programs. When iMinds and IMEC merged in 2016, Olivier was appointed program manager for innovation services, defining and executing the strategy of the innovation service portfolio and managing the team of innovation managers.
In 2020 Olivier moved to EY VODW, the business innovation team at EY Belgium. As senior manager, Olivier served as trusted advisor for the customers as end responsible for the innovation projects. He was also responsible for coaching the project teams and developing the business and strategy of the team as part of the management team. Beginning 2022, joined the KBC focus fund team to support the growth of the focus fund.
