Philippe Desomberg

Philippe joined KBC Securities in 2021 as Executive Director. He holds a Master’s degree in Applied Economics from the UCL Mons. Philippe has over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, as a corporate banker and a M&A advisor. He started his career in 1989 at Banque Bruxelles Lambert (BBL became ING). He fulfilled the positions of Agency Director, SME Credit Expert and Senior Corporate Relations Officer.

In 2008, he moved to CBC (KBC’s subsidiary in the French part of Belgium) as Senior Corporate Relations Officer. In 2016, he became head of Corporate Finance.

Selected recent transactions include the sale of a minority stake in Automation & Robotics to the management and SRIW and the sale of Jacques Remy et fils.
